Learning, unveiled.
About Aletheia
Better questions can open the door to deeper learning.
Aletheia is a parent-managed AI tutor for children ages 5 to 18. It meets learners where they are, helps them work through ideas step by step, and gives families a clearer view of the learning along the way.
The idea
Why Aletheia exists
A child can arrive at the right answer without understanding why it works. We want learning to feel less like collecting answers and more like uncovering an idea for yourself—with a patient guide when you get stuck.
Aletheia takes its name from a Greek word associated with truth and disclosure. That name reflects the goal: help learners make sense of a subject, ask another question, and keep going.
AI can be useful here, but it can also make mistakes. Aletheia is a learning tool, not a replacement for a parent, teacher, or a child's own thinking.
The experience
How learning works
Parents set the direction
Create a child profile, choose subjects and learning settings, and shape the experience around your family.
Children learn by doing
The tutor uses questions and explanations to help a learner reason through a topic, practice, and try again.
Families stay informed
Parents can review progress and tutoring conversations, so they can see where a child is growing and where more help may be needed.
What matters
A tool families can guide
Children need patient explanations that match their level. Parents need a say in what their children study and a way to see what happens in tutoring sessions. Those priorities shape how Aletheia is built.
We also take child privacy and age-appropriate learning seriously. Read about our parent controls and safety approach on the Safety & Privacy page.
